OUR YPRES WW1 CENTENARY STORY AND TRIP

The band played for the emotional weekend of 19th AUGUST 2018 for the commemorative presentation of the famous Centenary Stained Glass Sculpture, which was a present from the people of Youlgrave and from All Saints C of E Church Youlgrave, to Ypres Catholic Cathedral and the Belgium people. Half now remains in Youlgrave C of E Church as a reminder of the link and the soldiers left behind. The band played at the Menin Gate and toured surrounding towns, playing concerts and appropriate music in the cemetery visits.
